In III Dragon Synopsis
Millions of years ago, two men had discovered three distinctive hearts of ancient dragons.
Together these two men began a hunt to discover where the Dragons Cave originated. When they discovered the cave they found that three hearts were floating in front of a dragon, called the Heart Keeper.
Both men grabbed the hearts, while the dragons were asleep. All of a sudden one of the dragons awoke and blew a burst of fire that burnt one of the men holding one of the hearts. The burnt heart was blown away towards the sky and landed somewhere in Asia.
Years later a little boy found a small piece of the burnt heart on the ground. He picked it up and ate it. The boy grew up not knowing the heart was reborn into his human body. Now the dragons heart is in the heart of one man, Mario (Sonny Syonesa).
Mario, unbeknownst to him that he possesses the dragons heart, is being watched by the Heart Keeper since the day he was born. He struggles to fit in and seems to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Heart Keeper tests him by conjuring up trouble everywhere Mario goes. The more Mario fights and becomes stronger fighter, the more powerful the dragons heart becomes.
During his grocery shopping at the Asian Market he runs into Kelly (Kay Phimmasane) and instantly falls in love with Kelly. His love for her doesnt come without a price; Tank (Bountheng Thammavongsa) is the most dangerous gang leader in the streets. The gang gives him trouble every time they see him.
His desire to overcome his fears and to win the love of Kelly takes him to a new path. He begins his martial arts training with Julies uncle, his first SIFU, who sends him to Laos to train with the Grand Master. His new journey doesnt get any easier. In the streets of Laos, Mario finds more trouble. He meets a girl who captures his affection. However, his love for her only brings more bad luck to everyone.
At the end of his training, Mario returns to the United States of America as a new man with new strengths. He goes to Kellys party and their love is re-ignited. But their happiness doesnt last long before Kellys recent ex-boyfriend, the Big Boss (Jason Konstad), uses her as a bait to get to the dragons heart beating inside Mario. Big Boss destroys everyone in his path and kidnaps Kelly.
Mario, eager to rescue Kelly from Big Boss, goes to Candys martial arts gym where he meets John (Big John Dickerson). Trouble finds Mario again as a gang storms into the gym demanding a fight with Master Cheng. John tries to trick Mario into fighting the gang but Mario doesnt want anything to do with it. He tells John he doesnt want to fight anymore because the only thing it has brought him is pain. John is left to fight off the gang on his own while Mario gets distracted by Angelina (Brandi Wiege), Candys sister, who finally convinces Mario to fight.
John is impressed by Marios martial arts skills. Mario explains that he has only been fighting for 10 years. He takes John on a flashback ride of fights, love, fears and his ability to change into who he is now. Since his return, things have gotten much worse. Big Boss (Jason Konstad) threatens to kill Kelly if Mario doesnt give up his heart to him. He struggles with ending his own life versus saving Kellys life. He threatens himself by going to commit suicide. Greg, (Greg Gagne, AWA World Tag Team Wrestling Championship from the 1980s) stops him. Mario has to choose between life, death and his loss of Kelly forever.
Now Marios biggest fight is bigger than life itself to face the Big Bosss fiercest fighters; The Ultimate Warrior (Andy Fiedler, Strongest man in the world of Power Lifting, Mr. Minnesota 2005), The Black Cobra Ninja (Alexander Svirshch, The world champion of circus), The Fast Hand (Tim Gee), Big D (Somsai Keophilavanh), G.I. BO Ultimate Fighting Machine (Edwin Olson), Thai Warrior (Phoun Phoulavanh), The Soldier Man (Howard Thomson). Will Mario have what it takes to step up and fight for what he wants and defeat his biggest enemy? Or will Big Boss win and get his ultimate wish, the woman Mario loves and the heart of one man that will make him the most Powerful Destroyer to Ever Live.
